The cottage is on a lane called Whitmore Vale on the edge of Grayshott. It’s set in a very peaceful valley with a stream and lakes on one side and a paddock and wood on the other.
It’s on the border of Hampshire and Surrey and a twenty minute walk (or a couple of minutes in a car) to the village of Grayshott. There you’ll find two small supermarkets, cafes, shops, a pub and two churches. Applegarth farmshop and cafe has great food and is a short walk away across our paddock and through ancient woodland. Grayshott Pottery is a working pottery and cafe which is a twenty five minute walk up a hill, or a very short drive.
There are plenty of lovely walks in the area, many of which go through National Trust land. Alternatively, the garden is peaceful and full of wildlife.
