The cottage has been lovingly renovated, and is thought to have been built over 100 years ago, likely built for a local brushmaker. It has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, sitting room with a wood burning stove (and logs) and a restored double brass bed in the bedroom. The kitchen opens onto a small sun kissed patio with table and chairs to allow for eating outside.
There are board games, books and a small TV and DVD player. We’ve provided a selection of DVDs and hope you like our taste, but if you have your own, it might be worth bringing them!
There’s really only space for couples but if a child can sleep on a camp bed they’re welcome too! We love animals, but unfortunately the cottage isn’t suitable for pets.
Sadly, the cottage is not wheelchair friendly.
